  • [Question] Timon Parking Lot

I have never stayed on Katella before. So my question for you is, can you access the Timon Parking lot from Katella on foot and the take a tram to the main gate? Or do I need to walk the long way around? I was think at the end of the day, how nice it would be to tram it to the end of the parking lot and the walk the little way back to the hotel. Is this even possible?

    Re: Timon Parking Lot

there is an entrance at the convention center cross walk.

due to the constuction and staging areas in the lot there isn't much tram travel left. by the time you walked to the loading area it wouldn't be much farther for you to walk to the entry plaza.

I'll be staying on Katella next week near West Street. I'll be walking in on the Downtown Disney side.

        Re: Timon Parking Lot

Note, in the next few weeks, you will find the pedestrian gate locked on occasion... (mainly for Grad Nites and private events).

And in a few weeks, pretty much locked for good, as the Timon Lot is closing to start work on Cars Land for DCA.

The tram loading area will be moved to the Simba Lot, behind Paradise Pier, and will have no stops in-between. Straight to the Front Gate area.
