  • HM's DoomBuggies

I have a question about the DoomBuggies on the Haunted Mansion attraction. Were they replaced recently or maybe in the past couple years or so?

They seem smaller and shorter in height to me now. I don't remember my head hitting the top of the curved dome part of the cars (when you lay on your back after leaving the attic). They are also hard plastic now and I seem to remember them being made of metal.

I had this conversation with another Disney maniac and he didn't think it has changed at all since opening.

    Any thoughts on this?

the Doombuggies haven't changed much... they are still the same..sometimes, if the buggy has any probs either with the shell, then they get replaced by a newer buggy..other than that, no change.
'When hinges creek in doorless chambers..and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls..whenever candlelights flicker..where the air is deathly still..That is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.'

They are still metal on the outside. Give the back of the doombuggies a touch sometime.
