  • [Question] Lasseter Interview

Anyone seen this awesome interview with John Lasseter? Seems like the more I read of him the more I think he may be one of the few that 'gets it'.

From what I've read about Lasseter, I too think he gets it. The link didn't work though so I couldn't read the interview.

Thanks for posting, what a great interview!

I have so much respect for that man, I think his passion and talent is already steering Disney in the right direction with their film-making. I think he's great!

                I knew that Antz was a rip-off of A Bug's Life. Go John L.
BTW.Does anyone think there is going to be a Bugs Life 2?

The guy's a genius. He hasn't yet proven himself as a champion of top-notch, original theme park attractions, but he sure has for top-notch, original films. It's truly wonderful to know that his kinds of ideas and ideals can be wildly successful with modern audiences.

I think he's also shown himself to have, through interviews and the film work he has done, to have the right thought process in order to produce top-notch original theme park attractions. He has the right process I think.

These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. I mentioned this article last night in this thread:

                          http://micechat.com/forums/movies/10...goes-up-5.html

And the fact that they lifted one of my photos of JL originally posted here on MiceChat from the 5/1 DCA Food & Wine Festival
                          http://micechat.com/forums/disneylan...une-7-a-6.html.

Its the the last shot on page 13 of their interview.

When I read articles like this, I become more and more convinced that buying Pixar was one of the best things Iger did because it got Lasseter involved with Disney again.
