  • [Question] House of the future foundation

Does anyone have any pictures of the remnents of the house of the futures foundation? I guess you can still see it?

I hope it's still there. Hopefully they didn't remove it as part of the Pixie Hollow redo.

In reality, it's a large slap of concrete painted green.

I was going to say I saw it while the area was still Ariel's Grotto, but I haven't looked since Pixie Hollow went in. They may have taken in out, but I hope they would have left it as a nod to the past.

Judging by this picture I would say it is either very well camouflaged or gone entirely

Yep, it's still there. Right next to the pixie hollow sign. It's painted green now--has been for year--and has been hollowed out and turned into a planter. But it's there. Look for the big square of green cement, about three feet high, covered with plants.

I haven't watched the show, but I have seen the previews.

It looks like they film it at USH in the lagoon (and back-drop) that they originally built for Jaws The Revenge (and have used in NUMEROUS other TV shows and motion pictures.

Thank You... I was wondering what they would do with it since according to the picture the foundation is right about where the Pixie Hollow entrance sign is.

With this handy description, I knew I had a picture of the area, and, as of January 2, anyways... it's still there!
