Well, I'd like for TDA to bring the mentality that the OLC has to Disneyland. Sadly, OLC can't bring anything to DLR, only TDA can do that.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
Kevin Yee posted an article a while back about a theoretical situation in which it no longer makes sense for Disney to own and operate its theme parks.
If it were to ever come to that, it would be great if OLC would buy the North American parks and pay licensing fees like they do for TDL.
Hunny Hunt is awesome and I would love to see it in the States, but as has been already said OLC can't give anything to Anaheim, but there's nothing saying Anaheim couldn't clone the attraction were they willing to shell out the bucks.
Are they not helping pay for Star Tours 2.0???? That should be a big bonus.
Yes, but that is because it benefits Tokyo Disneyland. Putting a Hunny Hunt in Disneyland would be a beyond idiotic move for them because it doesn't help them at all. So they would be handing over $130+ million to Disneyland and not getting a dime back...
I rather have something more unique come to Disneyland like a Beauty and the Beast trackless dark ride where you are in a teacup and go through the story.
I think we're all overexcited that OLC finally has a relationship with DLR. I'm going to say that we should all puncture our bubbles...in all probability, this is probably and only a one-off deal for Star Tours 2.0.
Not saying that a little bit of OLC magic wouldn't be good...
