Trip Report Lunch at Club 33 ~ 7/26/09 (Photo Heavy)

I was finally able to enter the mysterious door of Club 33. After month's of finding the right person to contact I was in!

I recently got married on July 18 and my wife birthday was on July 26. I thought it would be a great surprise to take her to lunch at Club 33. Both of us being huge Disney fan we were very excited to be able to eat lunch at the Club.

What a fantastic birthday surprise! Those plates look amazing! I would hate to eat from them. They look so clean (haha).

that either means exclusive or expensive or both haha

if you don't mind me asking, what was your final bill for one lunch there?

I am jealous!!! I will go one of theses days.

I also heard that were was a fire in New Orleans yesterday. They had to evacuated the Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans. Did they evacuated you??

I went to the bathroom but they didn't have any napkins with the 33 logo. I was looking for it too!

As for how the price work, the main entree is the cost of a park admission. So each person was $69.00. Not including drinks. The $69 include buffet seafood appetizers and all you can eat desserts. Pictures to come soon.

We were at Club 33 from 12 - 3 with no problems. If there was a fire it was after 3 pm.

We were at Club 33 from 12 - 3 with no problems. If there was a fire it was after 3 pm.

Hmmmmmmmm.......... I was informed around 3:30 P.M, around parade time. I was told it happened an hour prior, about 2:30 P.M. Weird that it you said that there were no problems, oh, well.

A fire affecting the Bayou and/or Cafe might probably have no impact on the Club, since it has its own kitchen, and is a separate operation.

Thanks, Barry. that sounds logical. I am guessing that it might of happen in the NOMK. NOMK doesn't serve Club 33, does it?

Have they finished the refurb? I know that they were completely remodeling the NOMK, and were cooking out of the Plaza Pavillion's kitchens for several months.

i don't know, last time I was there, the CMs were still crossing the train tracks at NOS Train Station to get backstage.

Alright, i'm back.

Lets get to the buffet line for appetizers.

I don't know where the other picture is, but they also served, crab claws, lobster tails and shrimp cocktails.

Next to the buffet was a bar where the waiters got our drinks.

Yes I did have my wife go into the ladies room to see the famous seat.

In the women room there is a small area with a table and mirror for the ladies to freshen up their makeup.
