  • [Question] Help! Question...Summer Fun Pass...

Okay, I am a CM and I have family coming who do not live in Cali. I bought them the $99 summer fun pass and will be going with them to the park on their first day.

If you've used these passes lately, have you been asked to show your ID?

Since I am with them, will they have a problem getting in since they are not from So Cal?

Also, do people who use the So Cal pass only get carded on the first day they use the pass or on all 3 days of use?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

What you should do, next time you're working, come in 20 or so minutes early, and talk to a Main Gate Cast Member back stage.

I bought one for my daughter when we went in June. They never once asked to see her ID. In fact, any time I have bought her a pass to get in they have never questioned it or asked her for ID.

Well, I totally would, but I am actually off on disability right now due to being injured. With my Cast ID, I am allowed to go into the park, but not able to go backstage.

Any other advice is greatly appreciated!

When me and my brother went last year they required that at least one person in the party show a valid ID.

However, I heard that on busy days they don't bother checking.

It really is the luck of the draw. Just pray you get a flexible CM.

The Unoffical Official policy is that if you have a Sumemr Pass already they will NOT check for id at the gate. The program works that they will check for ID at the time of purchase. That can be at the gate or at the supermarket you bought it from. If for some reason they let you buy the passes without id then you are fine. They will NOT check for id at the turnstyles.

I have done this for friends this summer and asked CM if it was ok, if the supermarket sold us the passes. And they said they only check if you are purchasing the pass. Have fun

Thank you for your responses! We went to the park last week and had no problems. We got there about 1 hour after opening. It wasn't crowded and they did not ask for an ID.

              Thanks again!

                Re: Help! Question...Summer Fun Pass...

This year, unlike previous, random ID checks can occur on any day of use.

Thanks for cheating the system, though. In the end, it makes prices more expensive for all of us.
