Here's a sobering analogy: In terms of effects, tone, characters, etc., Stars Tours 2.0 will be to Star Tours 1.0 as the Star Wars Prequels are to the Star Wars Originals.
That video clip made my heart sink... pod-racing and that awful CG "villain" from Phantom Menace. No doubt they'll throw a cameo for Jar Jar in as well. And the CG (as opposed to filmed models) as shown in that clip will never be as convincing to the human eye, making the technique less suitable to simulators than to movies.
Enjoy Star Tours 1.0 while you can, because it will soon have an inferior replacement.

Uhmmm... Yeah, I hope it's not just pod-racing. Because "stupid" is the only word that that video brings to mind. So the pod-racer engines attach to the Star Speeder? That's ridiculous and silly. I guess kids will love it, but...
