[Question] Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

I am visiting a friend in OC this weekend and we are wondering which day would be the least crowded at DL. We're leaning towards Friday but I thought I'd check with the experts. TIA

Friday is O.K. during the daytime, but when the sun goes down the teenagers come out!!!

There are a lot of teenagers with SoCal Select passports that go Friday after school since they are not blocked-out, don't have to go to school in the morning, and have all weekend to do homework.

I would go with a Sunday, only because not too many people will be out late at night with work and school in the morning. That's one of my preferred days.

I would go with a Sunday, only because not too many people will be out late at night with work and school in the morning. That's one of my preferred days.

Sunday is better at night, but Saturday is much better during the day.

Friday - empty before 5PM.
Saturday - moderate crowds.
Sunday - very crowded during the day, empties out after the Fireworks.

I think it depends on the season. In the last three weeks, I went on Friday twice, Saturday twice and Sunday twice. The first Friday and Sunday was PACKED!! Saturday was really nice, not a big crowd. But the second time around, it was the opposite, Friday and Sunday were cool but Saturday was PACKED!! I would think now that school is back, I would say Saturday is the busiest because a) Fridays would be half day for most, so maybe it wouldn't be worth it for those without passes. Sunday, would most likely be travel days so travelers wouldn't be willing to stay in a park all day and travel all night.

Saturdays.... And it's been like this since the summer. I was there this past Saturday and it was beautiful crowd wise (probably because of D23 though). Just go and don't worry about the crowds.

Sundays are always my favorite. Mondays are decent too. Sundays are great since they usually have everything running (Parades, Fireworks), but the crowd drops like a rock at around 5PM.

With kids back in school I'd say Friday. Remember though, after work gets out a little after 5, the place starts hopping.

Least crowded that's easy it's Saturday. I went 09/05/09 and most wait times were less than 15 minutes or walk on. If you get to the park at opening and leave at midnight you probaby go on every ride. In the mornings Fantasyland is very empty. Also fastpasses help to save time. This might change due to Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion being closed. It's true Sunday at night Disneyland has no crowds but the park closes at 11 at night.

I recommend Saturday. All SoCal passes are blocked out (which means fewer people) and you don't have to wake up early the next day to go to work. It's a win-win!
