    News The Future of NOS shops this holiday season!

    Yes! Le Bat en Rouge has returned to its original position, making the Pirates store shrink.

    However, a CM source has stated that there is more in store.

    A) The holiday store will once again be located in the Courtyard of Angels.

    B) The currently shuttered holiday store will become a temporary store for the Princess and the Frog Merch.

    I know it's coming from an hourly CM but it seems highly likely!

      When I was there last week,
      the Le Bat En Rouge sign was still up (where it was moved to last year (few years) ago) and it had generic disney clothes in it.
      I did notice that All the Jack items were brought back to where the LBER store originally pop'd up (sorry, don't remember the orig. name of the store that it took over back in 2003).
      Will be interesting to see.
      Curious why you'd put a princess and frog in NOS when it should go over in Fantasy (I know...Disney hasn't been doing a good job lately putting merch specific items to land/store.....but stilll come on... a frog in NOS....only thing that makes sense is that you'd eat frog legs in NOS).

        The setting of the film is in the French Quater of New Orleans. So haveing a Princess and the Frog merch shop in NOS would be more appropriate than in Fantasyland. And thats why that Princess Tiana Boat show is in New Orleans Square Ok, it's on the Mark Twain which is part of Frontierland. But the Rivers of America is also part of NOS and CC.

          I think that Princess and the Frog takes place in New Orleans. Or maybe not New Orleans specifically, but somewhere in Louisiana on a bayou. I think NOS is the best place in the park for the merch.

          I can't believe the holiday season is already approaching... I love seeing the decorations in the park though! I'm sure I'll be doing lots of holiday decoration and Xmas shopping with my AP discount.

                Princess = Fantasyland

                Pirates = New Orleans Square

                  Hmm...I'm excited for all the Christmas things soon! The Princess and the Frog is fitting enough for NOS. Voodoo queens, swamps, etc. Sounds fine to me

                      The courtyard isnt really a main thoroughfare, and I rarely ever see people back there. I don't think there's any harm in selling holiday decorations in there just a couple of months out of the year. It'll help bring attention to that hidden corner of NOS, as I'm not sure that everyone takes the time to explore and look in all of the little shops back there. That's just my opinion, though.
