[Fun] Favorite proposal spot?

IF you were too "pop THE question" inside either DL or DCA, and I know some of you have, where would it be and why?

I have to admit back in 01' I asked a girl while we were standing in the Courtyard of Angels for our annual DL Trip photo, she said yes, however the relationship later didn't work out. LOL!

The draw bridge at the castle. Or maybe in the Court of Angels too. It'll be at least four years till I can get married though. Haha. It'll be probably be 8 to 10 years from now when I get married though. I want to be walking into Fantasyland with my boyfriend. I want him to drop down and dumb me will keep walking and turn around and find him kneeling down. I'll walk up and he'll ask me to marry him. I'll happily say yes with tears in my eyes. By standers will be amazed and congratulate us. *sigh as if in love* Perfect, isn't it?

I would have to say that my favorite proposal spot would have to be front of the Mark Twain at night..I would LOVE to have the whole boat to ourselves to propose. Although, my teacher's husband had a pretty cool proposal..he called ahead and had help from Disney CMs to arrange the perfect moment! He and my teacher were let onto the Storybook Canal boats during "Remember.." fireworks..and had the opportunity to propose under a curtain of fireworks!

I would have to say that my favorite proposal spot would have to be front of the Mark Twain at night..I would LOVE to have the whole boat to ourselves to propose. Although, my teacher's husband had a pretty cool proposal..he called ahead and had help from Disney CMs to arrange the perfect moment! He and my teacher were let onto the Storybook Canal boats during "Remember.." fireworks..and had the opportunity to propose under a curtain of fireworks!

Awww! How wonderfully fantastic! Omg! At the castle during the fireworks would be amazing! Storybook Canal boats would be awesome during fireworks too!! Omg! The Mark Twain during Fantasmic! (yeah, I know it's not possible, but I can dream on, right?)

I don't know for sure about a proposal, but back in the 1980's, the piano in the ranch house at Big thunder wasn't yet locked and I would serenade my girlfriend (now my wife) for hours on end. she still says it was terribly romantic!

Snow white's grotto at night...soooo cliche!! Or maybe as we're walking out at midnight and nobody is around...I love Disneyland when it's empty...especially around the Rivers of America!!

I would have to got with Big Thunder trail at dusk, permitting there were no crowds and BTMM wasn't going to come around the bend and make the one doing the proposing have to repeat themselves

On my trip a few weeks ago, Someone popped the question while in front of the castle before Magical.

Was very nice to see and I felt like I was the only one clapping lol!

Everyone else just wanted to move past the crowd sitting for the fireworks.

I think the bow of the Mark Twain after dark would be ideal. Nice slow ride, not a lot of noise, etc. Even the stern on the top deck.

Silly as it seems, somewhere at the top of Tarzans Treehouse would be neat also. One of the stair landings, where the view is spectacular.

The pathway near the exit of Thunder Mountain is a very nice spot as well. It doesn't seem crowded, even if there's a lot of people.

Of course, it'd help if I knew someone crazy enough.....er...I mean willing....

Wrong park, but I did propose to my wife in Cinderella's Castle in WDW. Right in front of the spot on the mural where Cinderella is getting fitted with her glass slipper.

Cliche? Perhaps. Romantic? Absolutely. We always call it our castle now.

Serious, sweet pea, you are really laying on the hints quite thick. I can only assume the fella you want a proposal from is either on this board or closely following your internet activity. Good luck with that!

We first said "I Love You" at DLR...actually at Super8..haha.

The parks are very special to him only because I am a monument on the Disney-dork horizon.

Last year, we tried to get a bite at Blue Bayou at dusk (so naive!) and were rejected. We ended up at the Jazz Kitchen (Downtown Disney) and I was still blown away.

But he has kept the tiny scrap of paper with the reservation info given to him at Blue Bayou in his wallet this WHOLE TIME.

I really think that's where it will happen this year.

But, really, couldn't they serve champagne?!

As I was reading some of these to my boyfriend, he just kept rolling his eyes. lol.

But I would love to be proposed to on Main Street a little after the park closes when there isn't too many people around. It would feel like we had the park all to ourselves in our special moment.
