[Question] Muppet Vision upgrade

Hello everyone. I'm new here and I'm a little confused on where to post stuff for DCA. I didn't see a section for it so I'm assuming it goes here? LOL! But yea, it was announced at D23 that Muppet Vision was getting an upgrade to digital 3D. I'm so excited about this because being a long time favorite attraction as a kid, it's really starting to show it's age. Hopefully they will enhance the in-theater effects as well. Does anyone know more info on this??

... then why was it announced at D23? It's probably an upgraded version, like the ones shown in the movie theaters.

well the clone in DCA is eight years old but the attraction was designed in the late 80's and opened in Orlando in 1991. the 3d movie is actually about 18 years old.


what kind of bugged me about the DCA version is that they left the ending identical as the Orlando ending. The movie was filmed so that when the back wall is blown out the movie that is shown is a replica of the outside of the orlando attraction building. It has the brick wall and backlot look.
