[Question] What is is the rehab on storybook land??

I love this ride and was wondering what they are doing. I hope they are updating the sound systems, I hate when I get a boat and you can not hear anythng the person is saying.

Routine Maintenence. Refreshing the minature models, and refurbing the boats.

They should be able to fix the sound systems on the boats and the surrounding area since it's scheduled to re-open in November.

Casey JR. Circus Trains is also closed for similar reasons since it goes through Storybookland as well.

I sure hope they don't mess it up, like they did with a few other 'rehabs'.

These are two of my favorite rides, especially the boats after dark.

No new changes are planned at this time. This is just regular maintence of the ride and the scenery that lasts roughly 2 months everytime this happens. Same thing happened in 2007.

They are just replacing and fixing some dry rot on the rides. I've also heard that they are also gonna try to make Ariel's scene in Storybook land more visible.

Very old joke from the dawn of MiceChat. There was a rumor that a loop would be added to Space Mountain. Turned out not to be true, but it was repeated so many times that now the tradition is, whenever a ride goes down for rehab or changes, someone has to say, "they're adding a loop."

Maybe it's not funny anymore...
But I just had to say it before somebody else did.

They are brushing Monstro's teeth. Whale teeth get very plaque-y and need a thorough cleaning ever couple years. They need Casey Jr. to transport the HUGE whale-sized tube of Colgate.

Mostly they do have to work re-paint the little minature models,light's also sound
and re plant,grass, and little tree's....lot's of time thos little tree's become to big!
boats ,that area need's months to work on .... as well put in clean water!
I for one still enjoy Story Book Land so i think it's worth the maintence and up keep!

"Rehab" is the old term for attractions closed for maintainence. "Refurb" is the common term. Some major refurbs do involve changes, but in general the phrase is interchangable.
