Because this poll allows only 10 choices, I had to cut the list down to only current attractions. If your favorite is from a discontinued attraction, such as "Miracles from Molecules" (Adventure thru Inner Space), There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" (Carousel of Progress) or the Rainbow Caverns music, please click "Other" and reply with your choice.

Re: Favorite ride music
Space Mountain.
I love the classics "A Pirates Life For Me" and "Grim Grinning Ghosts" but the orchestration and sync of the new SM track is BLOODY FANTASTIC. Michael Giacchino is one of my favorite composers, and it started for me with this track."I can stand the sight of worms,
and look at microscopic germs,
but technicolor pachyderms
are really too much for me."

Re: Favorite ride music
Maybe you it wasn't able to be listed, but I still have to go with Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. After one showing I had it memorized and still know it by heart.
I also used to love the 'Herb Alpert/Burt Bacharach sounding People Mover music as well as the old Monorail music.First Visit at the age of 12, July 17, 1968.First Ride, The Disneyland and Santa Fe Railroad.BRING BACK THE PEOPLE MOVER!

Re: Favorite ride music
I would definitely say Grim Grinning Ghosts. It amazes me how well the entire ride's soundtrack is executed, thanks to the genius of Buddy Baker. His use of the song being used as a cue throughout the attaction, but done in a different mood, and at the same length of time, is fantastic and keeps the whole attraction in sync musically. Not to mention all the fun and kooky variations that Thurl, Bill Lee, Loulie Jean Norman, et all have with the song in the graveyard, as well as X.'s fun lyrics. To me, the HM is one of those rare rides where the music both blends seamlessly with the experience of its visuals, but at the same time, is one of the main key ingredients for the ride's success.

Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean.
YO HO (A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME)
Lyrics by Xavier Atencio and music by George BrunsYo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage plunder, we rifle and loot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort and pilfer, we filch and sack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char and in flame and ignite.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villians and knaves.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, we're really bad eggs.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do-well cads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
The Haunted Mansion
Grim Grinning Ghosts
Music by Buddy Baker and lyrics by F. Xavier Atencio
When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake
Spooks come out for a swinging' wake
Happy haunts materialize, and begin to vocalize,
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize
Now don't close your eyes and don't try to hide
Or a silly spook may sit by your side
Shrouded in a daft disguise, they pretend to terrorize,
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize
As the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree
Spooks come out for the midnight spree
Creepy creeps with eerie eyes, start to shriek and harmonize
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize!
When you hear the knell of a requiem bell
Weird glows gleam where spirits dwell
Restless bones eptherialize, rise as spooks of every size
(maniacal laughter)
If you would like to join our jamboree
There's a simple rule that's compulsory:
Mortals pay a token fee, rest in peace, the hauntings free,
So hurry back, we would like your company!
