[Question] Need details on Princess Fantasy Faire

Hi all,
I've got a Disney princess-obsessed five year old, and we're coming into town for a quick one-day trip to Disneyland on Friday Sept. 25th (first day of halloween there!). Last trip, we did Ariel's Grotto and she had a BLAST, but this time, we're only going to Disneyland, so we want to go to the Princess Faire.

I'm wondering the timing on the Princess Faire. I read that the Princess Faire opens at 10am, and earlier is better for lines. Is this true? If we get in line at around 9:30 (she'll have the 9am appt for bibbiti bobbiti boutique so we can't get there any earlier), does anyone have a good estimate on when we'd be done with Princess Faire (so we could actually get on some rides!)? I'm guessing 11:15-11:30 but you guys would know better than me. I also read that there are shows there every so often, but didn't know at what times they were taking place. Anyone have any info on this?

Princess Fantasy Faire is now only the meet and greet. The show has been on hiatus for a few months. If you do get there that early, the lines are definitely going to be a lot shorter than they would if you go later in the day as not many people travel that far back to the park that early. And heck, since you're going on a Friday morning the park is going to be pretty quiet until 4pm.

It's not going to take an hour, probably about 15 - 30 minutes depending on when you get in line. After you go through the line, it's another 10 - 15 if you do spend a little more 1 on 1 time with the princesses. 5 minutes if you just want the pictures.
