First of all, hello to everyone here at MiceChat! My name is Christie, though you can call me whatever. My love for Disney has been strong ever since I decided I wanted to be an animator, but recently it's turned into a little obsession, hence my stumbling across this website. After a week or so of lurking I've finally decided to register an account. Nice place ya got. =3
Now for my post --
My friend and I are both Annual Passholders, and after one of our many trips to Disneyland our brains hatched a fun idea. We would take on each land, one by one, and try to do everything there is to do in that land in a single DL trip. We called it our Disneyland Invasion Plan.
We don't want it to just be a 'hit all the attractions' type of deal, though. We also want to fit in other small, random things that normal tourists don't do - you know, the little things that add to the experience. Like watching for the invisible fish in the walkway between Frontierland and Fantasyland. Or going to the Animation building in DCA and sitting through the entire reel of videos in the lobby. Or decoding all of the Marabic messages in line for Indiana Jones. Or playing hide-and-seek on Tom Sawyer's Island.
I need ideas to fill up my Invasion Plan. We've already conquered Toontown, Critter Country, and A Bug's Land (starting at the smallest and moving up), but of course the victories have been far too easy.
So I figured this forum would be a great place to ask - what sort of things do you do (or would like to do) in Disneyland and California Adventure that one might not normally think of? A tradition? A different way to ride an attraction? A game?
