Okay, so I haven't done a good Disneyland trip report since May and the Gumball Rally. I've been to the park 3 times since then and just didn't feel I really had good enough pics and stuff to post. So I figured now that I have all three of these and what not I'd make one big uber post (that will still probably be lacking
)
Wow, this wasn't suppose to be so self depricating
Anyway, on to the pictures starting with the most recent trip.
D23 started on Thursday as many know but Nela25, Carl (who we still haven't gotten on MC yet) and I headed up on Wednesday and went straight to the park.
As I've said, there's not a ton of pictures. Our main goal was to ride Mansion a bunch since it'd be closing the next day (we managed 3 times)
We also took Nela25 into Sleeping Beauty's Castle cause she hadn't been in the walkthru yet
Here are my "artsy pics" from inside
It was clear in this area for a long time and then suddenly when I decided to take the pic, everyone showed up. Natch

The princess in her royal chamber and her Blue Dress (as it should be)

The book fortold of True Love's Kiss. I think it'll all work out okay in the end but I could be wrong

We also made it over to Big Thunder.
See, there are no pics because I make faces like this

Carl's ready for the wildest ride in the wilderness

We also went on a crazy cartoon spin over in Toon Town

And that was really it for Wednesday but not it for pictures.
We didn't go to the park Thursday b/c it closed too early and we wanted to get the most out or D23 experience.
Instead we headed to the park Friday night mostly to see Fantasmic.
The park was crazy crowded because of normal Friday crowds and the influx of D23. We struggled to get food and they ran out of clam chowder, WTH?! Anyway, we skipped the first F! and instead went over to Tomorrowland and hit up Star Tours.
When we got inside the Cm told us to line up as close to the wall as possible... we took him a little too literally.

The other guests looked at us like we were crazy.
After the ride, we listened to Magical and jumped on the train. We took it around to NOS and then headed to the Rivers of America to get our spot for Fantasmic.
We were a bit far back and I was behind a guy with tall spikey hair. Luckily a lady in front of us left so we were able to have an unobstructed view
The show went off without a hitch (apparently the early show had had an issue and stopped a few minutes in). The excitement was high as none of us had seen the new dragon or other enhancements to the show
Mickey led everyone in the wave

Got some serious hang time

and then started dancing to All for One.... okay, maybe not

Dat's a really big snake!

The Money's practicing Tai Shing Pek Kwar (if you get that ref you get 100 KC brownie points
)

The pirates came in to break up the festivities

Confused Wendy is confused!

This one is blurry but I absolutely love how Wendy is so enamoured by Peter and he's all "I'll save you Wendy!". Adorable

Fly Peter Fly!

Time to dispose of that old cod fish properly!

Princesses in blue

It's like rhapsody in blue but more girly
(also, Mike [the Beast] goes Rawr!!)

The Queen doesn't approve of this frivolity!

She's so mad, she and her GIANT crown can't even look

Enter the eels! OMG they're cool, however I thought they might be a bit more animated. Like mocing faster and darting in and out

This one looks crazy like he's gonna eat our faces!!

And then it was time for the diva we'd all been waiting for. Mal threatened Mickey and looked rather manly

The crowd started cheering and there she was!!

She didn't breathe fire, but she did look amazingly impressive

And sadly Mickey defeated her and that was that.

Or so we thought (man, she takes forever to go back down into the pit. I mean, you can see her pretty much up until the Twain comes out. It's slightly bad show)
Anyway, the Twain came out with its random slew of characters

And that was it. It was really pretty Fantastic, but I love Fantasmic no matter what
We went off to Fantasyland to try and stay away from the crowds. The line was short, so we jumped on the Carrousel. Nela31 finally got to ride Jingles and she was very happy

Look, you can actually see me in a pic... I'm in the mirror... I need other people to take pics

There's apparently video of us on the ride somewhere. gonna have to get that from Carl

Over at Snow White, someone left the lights on in the pre-show so it made for some cool actually clear pics

I'm still not sure what happened when we loaded on the ride, but the guys all got stuck in the front. It was hilarious and tight quarters

Nela25 & I had a lot more room in the back

It was getting closer to midnight so we wandered thru Fantasyland. This is one of my favorite views in the park but I need a better camera (or better photography skills) to get it the way I want it

We also caught one of the Pixie Hollow shows...

We wandered thru the Hollow, headed over and took a lame ride on Jungle (the other dudes in the boat were annoying as heck) and then called it a night.
More to Come from Saturday and two previous trips
