We talk a lot about some of our favorites we would like to see returned: Country Bear Jamboree, People Mover, Mine Trains, etc...has their ever been a ride removed which made a return?

Subs comes close. Same with Castle walk-through.

Yeah you are right about the subs, the lagoon sat there unused for almost 10 years, for sure that counts.

Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes closed suddenly on October 3, 1998, and there was no announcement that they were being "refurbished" or anything at the time. Rumors among cast members at that time was that the canoes were gone for good. That it wasn't just a seasonal closure. The canoes are expensive for the park because each canoe requires 2 cast members and the ride capacity is small. However the canoes did reopen in June 1999.

The opposite happened with Rocket Rods. It was going to re-open in 2001, but that never happened.

The Lilly Belle was out for a few years as well--and there was talk about getting rid of it permanently.
