I really like DCA and the more it changes the more i like it. However the one thing that has remained a big gripe for me is its shortened hours. i dont mind so much if it starts later in the day, but i think the parks look so much better with their lights on.

I've been to DCA many times but ive only experienced it with the lights on twice. I'm really hoping that they'll start extending the hours soon cause Mickey's fun wheel looks awesome with the lights on from what ive seen on youtube. I think World of Color is going to need to be shown when it's completely dark so im really hoping they start extending park hours.

The atmosphere is very different walking through the parks at night and i'd like to be able to experience more of DCA this way. I was wondering if there were any other people here who were more into the night scene at the parks. Maybe im not the only one who feels this way about it. I haven't seen it discussed much.

I think DCA will start open later hopefully in a year or two. With Wonderful World of Color the Little Mermaid, and Cars. They will need the park to be open longer for those trying to do both parks.

YES! Omg not only do I love DCA at night, but these crazy hours have got me working like once a week! I haven't worked at DCA for two weeks! I miss it soo much! And it's even better when everyone's cleared out and it's just peaceful and quiet!

I am so all over later hours at DCA, I have seen it at Treat and its much more appealing . DCA can get hot hot during the day little trees and shade its great at night and I think with all the Boardwalk buildings trimmed in lights and Mickeys fun wheel and all the other plans and plussing put into lighting somewhere down the road we will see longer hours.

World of Color will extend the nighttime hours, and once TLM and RSR come we'll probably get earlier hours too, I'm guessing.

Extended hours is one of the essential parts of getting more people in to DCA. Why should anyone pay the same price for admission, but be shorted on the number of hours they have to enjoy the park?

WOC will hopefully make the big change in that.

^I think we can anticipate those big changes when WoC comes. The fact that it won't just be a new show for California Aventure, but people will most likely be raving about it, will bring floods of crowds. I can't wait until I see it in March!

in March it'll open later. World of Color starts then, so it'll almost certainly have extended hours

i like how the park hours are offset. That why I can enjoy the closures of DCA and Disneyland on the same night. Granted DCA closing at 8pm on sunday is kinda silly. I would much prefer DCA closing at 10 or 11 pm and Disneyland closing at midnight.

Another plus of the hours being extended, is that it well prevent a stampede of crowds raging Disneyland every night after DCA's closing.

Yeah im really hoping that WoC will extend the park hours like you guys suggest. Ideally to the same time Disneyland closes

World of Color is supposed to show up to 2 times per night, so there has to be later hours.
