  • [Question] Hollowe'en Trip needs Annual Passport Help

This upcoming Hollowe'en my wife and I will be making the trip to Disneyland to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. I plan to upgrade our one day passport to the Annual Passport. Where and how do we do so in the quickest way? Any other helpful advice will be gratefully accepted, as I want to spend our first day back in the Park In the Park instead of waiting in line. Also, is there a different process if we opt to make monthly payments instead of paying all at once?

    Happy Advance Anniversary!!!

Well, i suggest just get in the park 1hour before it opens then go to the tix booth let them know that you want to upgrade ur pass to an AP then also let them know that you want to make the monthly payments. Will this be your first AP? If so then u would have to go to the AP processing center in the park to get your photos taken. BUT! if this isnt your 1st one please bring your old one then just let the person in the tix booth that u hav an expired one and u wont have to go AP processing center inside the park (down side is ur old picture will be used in ur new AP card, but hey! ur a pass holder just go back on a random day and redo ur pix - i did that lol)

sorry i know this may not be the fastest way, but i know more peeps will post lol

Thanks for the quick reply. We had Annual Passports many years ago, but we'll probably need new photos. Does anyone know what time the Park is opening on Hollowe'en? How early can you get your passes/pictures? Thanks again.

Disneyland is open 8am-12am and California Adventure is 10a to 6pm. Where in the High Desert are you from TriviaDan?

from Disneyland Resort | Theme Park Calendar it says that park is open from 8am-12am, and DCA is from 10am-6pm.

Im assuming tix booth opens 1hr before the park opens then once u get in the park u can go to the AP processing center ryt away.

Re: Hollowe'en Trip needs Annual Passport Help

            My two thoughts:

            1) Go to the passport office later in the day. You don't really *need* to have the annual pass except to use for discounts in dining (or merch if you get the higher level passes), so why sit in the line with everyone else first thing? It may not always be the case, but typically the line seems longest first thing in the day and around 5-6 (the after-work crowd).

            2) Try the California Adventure office. I'm pretty sure they have one (just to the left at the main entrance) and I've never seen a line over there.

Have a great trip! I'm envious...no passes for us again until my other half finds a new job

We're from the Antelope Valley (Palmdale.) Thanks for the Advice. I'm now thinking that the thing to do is try to get down there Friday Night, so we waste no time at all on Saturday. Otherwise we will just have to make it a long day and get there extra early!
