  • What happened to my favorite Billy Hill?

The last few times I've been to the park I've noticed a bunch of new Billy Hills and my favorite one seems to be missing - the one who used to do the spot on Elvis impersonation and who was generally much funnier than any of the newer versions of Billy Hill. Where did he go? Does anyone know?

Umm... haven't seen him on Saturdays. You mean Sunday? Or has the schedule changed again? I think Saturday is the skinny guy that's still learning to play violin (But does an excellent job covering it through characterization)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I was just there this past Sunday and it was a whole new crew. Didn't recognize any of them. Perhaps, it was the holiday weekend and he was off? Thanks for the info, though. I usually go on Fridays, and that explains why I haven't seen him for awhile.

Thanks for that link. It explains a lot. I had no idea there where so many sub groups. I like the Gold Team as it has the best "Elvis" billy and "Billy Bass" who is the best bass player. I now know to go on Saturday, Tuesday or Wednesday to see the best group. Too bad the best Mandolin Billy doesn't seem to be there anymore. The one who played the Lone Ranger music on the Mandolin and sometimes even played Carnegie Hall he was so good.

Re: What happened to my favorite Billy Hill?

We are really enjoying the new revolving Billy cast.
Have you seen the tall guy that does Don Knotts?
And Farley the fiddle player from Frontierland is outstanding as a Billy.
The little dark haired guy who does Elvis Billy was trained by our beloved original Elvis Billy, and he is really good also. A few years ago he was the "girl" looking to get hitched in the skit in front of the Golden Horseshoe. We didn't see John "bass Billy", or his brother Evan "mandolin Billy" our last trip, and since we have actually met them a few times, they were missed.
The new Bass player does it straight so far, but he really is a great musician.
I think though, by deciding to go in that direction, we will benefit from having the show around for many more years of enjoyment! They are tweeking and changing all the time, but also keeping the things fans love about the act. I think its a great balance, and ultimately a smart move. If you can't guess, I'm a bonafide Billy fanatic!
Goin around the world...and back to Disneyland!

Here is another weekly updated website for all Billy Fans .
                    http://www.angelfire.com/biz7/wb6uce/area51.html

Also the billies this past weekend were out of town (the A-Team) as you would have them called or the "original"billies , on a special engagement show, which they do from time to time, so the schedules on the jansworld is just a guideline.
Also here is a whole bunch more Billy Info and chat site.
                    http://www.voy.com/10736/
This should cover ALL billy Inquiry's.
"I may never grow up! Its so over rated."
But as my kids do grow up, I am Glad they have enjoyed the Disney Magic.
