I made a quick visit to see Halloween Time for the first time. I arrived around 3pm and was surprised at how light the crowd was, even though at parking they were handing-out slips that said it would be crowded and had tips for dealing with the crowd. Most of the afternoon was like a typical Saturday except for the increased traffic at Space and HM, but toward evening the crowds started pouring in. I guess everyone just wanted to see the new fireworks and Main Street was totally packed during the fireworks.
The Space Mountain fastpasses were already out and I didn't feel like standing 1 Hour on that hot upper deck in mid afternoon so off to NOS to pick up a fastpass for HMH.
Halloween desserts at the French Market, chocolate covered cookies in a plastic coffin and they added JS decorations to the mini cheesecakes:

They put up some decorations including this one where the condiments were and moved the condiments to carts were there is nowhere to put your tray so you have to juggle your dinner just to get a napkin:

After the late lunch/early dinner a little walk around looking for Halloween stuff.
Big Thunder Ranch:

In the elevated area between Edelweiss Snacks and iasw they have set-up a temporary meet-and-greet for the villains, Cruella and the old-hag version of the Evil Queen were there today. Also, in addition the the Photopass photogs there was a guy vith a video camera, so this may be featured in an upcoming podcast.

Back to Big thunder Ranch to take a closer look. They had two people doing some very nice pumpkin carving.
