How much would it cost to upgrade from SoCal to Deluxe? Also, Is It cheaper to buy a blackout day ticket than an upgrade?(I posted this somewhere else here on the forum.)

Cost of upgrade is the price difference between the passes. So if you're going from Socal to Deluxe, it'll be $289 (price of deluxe) - $194 (price of socal) = $95. So you'll be paying $95 to upgrade your pass to deluxe. It costs $40 last time I check to go on a blockout date. If you plan on going more than twice after upgrading, it's worth it.

As to whether or not it's cheaper to buy a blockout day ticket than upgrade, I'm assuming you'll be paying the $40 to get in, then the $55 to upgrade. So either way, you'll be paying $95. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

I believe the blockout passes are now $45, but everything else looks good.

A You may upgrade your Passport type at anytime during your Annual Passport year. The expiration date of your current Pass will not change with upgrades. If you purchase a Blockout day ticket and decide to upgrade your Annual Pass later that same day, you may apply the price of the Blockout Day ticket towards the purchase price of the upgrade. Also, if you paid for parking in the Mickey & Friends parking structure on the same day that you are upgrading to a Premium Annual Passport or are adding the parking option to your current Annual Pass, present your paid parking ticket while upgrading and you will be reimbursed for the parking cost.

Its the difference between what YOU PAID for you pass (so if you bought it before the price changes, that would be $174) and that the current price is for a new Pass at the level that you are upgrading to is. There is NO prorating, so you pay that full difference regardless if there is 11 months or 1 week left on you Pass.
