[Question] How busy is it going to be this weekend? 10/3?

So I am going to DLR this weekend for my hubby's birthday and I am just wondering how busy should I expect it to be for gay days? Are we talking crazy busy like maybe get to ride like 3 rides or what? I just want to prepare if it is going to be crazy!

Hotels were booked around the Disneyland Resort two months in advanced for Gay Days. Let's just say that Fantasmic! probably will be shown 3 times instead of 2. Just get as many fastpasses as possible. Last year it was pretty bad. Don't forget Utah has fall break also.

Oh great. My birthday is on October 4th and I am going to Gay Days again! Why gay days on my birthday, how about on the 7th?

Lovely! Yeah I am from Utah and it is UEA (aka Utah's Excursion to Anaheim) as we like to call it! Thanks for the advice. I think we are just going to try and get fastpasses for all the attractions that are musts for us.

I actually would love to go and people watch over the weekend when the very different cultures of Utah and Gay Days meet in the parks!

When did the Utah thing start? Yesterday was very crowded and the Park stayed open an hour longer than posted. I also noticed lots of school age kids there.

You might consider the Happiest Haunts Tour! There are two times - 4:30 and 4:45 pm. The cost is $64, 20% off if with AAA or Disney Visa card! You get four rides - Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy - with special entrance status. A "ghostly keepsake" and "iconic Halloween treat" included. No park admission necessary. I believe that you get to stay for the fireworks show. I am going on the Friday night tour and so I can avoid those "E" ticket rides on Saturday and Sunday.

Does anyone have any idea what Friday October 2nd will be like? I'm hoping it will be a travel day for some of the crowds from Utah and the incoming crowd for Gay Days, and so it won't be as busy. That's the one day we are going!

The UEA Conference is Thursday and Friday. So, I think most of the Utah Families will probably be down there by Friday.

Its going to be a huge party. And I cant go because I chose to go to the micechat Haunt. I stand by my decision just wish I could of pulled em both off. I need to find a new Job where I am off on Saturdays. If I move to So cal Im not working saturdays thats for sure.

It will be ok until about 4 pm and then will get busier then you've probably ever seen.
