We all know that the Indiana Jones Adventure has been running in operation without a major refurbishment. Since the attraction was build to have less refurbishments that way. Now it definitely needs one! The ride has been run to the ground without any major fixes to the ride system and effects. Early in the morning and late at night, Indiana Jones Adventure has known to have preventive maintainances made by Disney mechanics after the ride's normal operating hours from the park. So, the attraction will have less break downs then frequent break downs. Every night, custodians will clean up the ride's track and leaked hydraulic oil.
A lot of things in Indy requires clean up, touch ups, fix some lightning, fix all the missing or major effects throughout the ride. Reconfigure the EMV's random movements again. Because when the ride first came out, it has all those famous 160,000 random combination, now some of the combination are gone.
Disney imagineers and mechanics have been complaining that Indy really needs a major overhaul and many new replacement parts to fix the ride and make up to 1995 quality again with new effects or even new scene that won't take away the charm of the attraction. Like the dark Rat Room for example. Instead of a empty black space with just a glowing long vine in the middle with just a projection. That part could add a scene with new special effects with the jeep still stalling at that area! Think of the Ideas!
A major refurbishment and overhaul of the attraction will make Indy more awesome again! Like back in 1995, with the Jeep being very rough and bumpy, like you have to hold on for dear life! To keep cool with the intense movements, you really should move your body around and head up and down. So, you won't suffer a neck ache or headache after riding it. You have to react with the ride's movements to make your experience even more enjoyable!! Think of the major refurbishment of Indy next year!
I do hope there is a major/large refurbishment for Indiana Jones Adventure next year. Because Disney knows it needs a big overhaul. On off-season, when the park closes pretty early. Maybe early 2010 or mid 2010 for the refurbishment. The imagineers and mechanics at Disney demands one, because the complex needs one. It needs a fix! It if it broken, fix it!
I am looking forward for one. So, it will have less break downs for today's technology, if they do a major overhaul to the ride system.
