[Question] Fantasmic! Questions

Hey everyone! I have reserved seats for the 10:30pm Fantasmic! on 10/12. I have a few questions I'm hoping you guys can help me with.

1.) Can I pick up the tickets the day prior at guest services or does it have to be day of?

2.) I see that the Columbia is out for refurb starting the 12th. Will this affect the show?

3.) We are planning to see the new Halloween fireworks in front of the castle then head over to our seats. I see the show is pretty short, like 12-15 min so I'm thinking 30-45 min is enough time to make it to the reserved seating section for Fantasmic?

4.) I will be with friends that just got married, if I tell the cast member when I check in will they do anything special for them?

All I know about is that the length of the show is 23 minutes. That should be enough time, just be sure to go through Fronteirland and be patient. Follow CM's directions!

I was there at Disneyland on Saturday and I waited at a favorite spot of mine which is right next to the middle light tower. On the otherside is reserved seating you have and people were showing up for that at 7pm. Someone else should know how this works better than me, but I believe to get front row in the reserved seats its first come first serve.

The Fantasmic Reserved Seating spots are all first come first serve. If you see the firework show (Halloween Screams) once its over, you are going to run into heavy traffic, lol, i mean crowds, on your way to the ROA.

Check in for either Fantasmic show is 8PM by the Haunted Mansion. you must have your tickets by then. You can pick them up either at Guest Services or in the park at City Hall.

Thanks guys! When you say 23 minutes I presume you are talking about Fantasmic? I heard that the Fireworks show was around 12-15 minutes. And the way I understand the seating is that you check-in at 8pm (line up even earlier) for both seatings to get a reserved seat. Then once you come back for the show your seats are reserved whether you show up 30 minutes prior or 10 minutes prior to start time. Is this not how it works? I know there will be heavy "traffic" Lol, but I figured 30 minutes would be plenty of time to snake our way over to the seats and that would give us about 15 min to spare. Am I underestimating this? Maybe I should have done the 9pm seating and watched the fireworks from ROA??

Thanks LittlePrincess! Do you know if the tickets can be picked up the day prior? I would like to pick them up the day before since I will have plenty of time and we won't be going into the parks that day. Just don't want to waste park time standing in line for them day of.

Sorry for jumping in here, but Fantasmic! only occurs on weekends now correct?

I usually go to City Hall to pick them up the day of, and do it mid day. While the line can LOOK long, I rarely have waited longer than 5 mins.

Check in - Get there a a little before 8 for check in. Usually, people start lining up at 730p.

I often do fireworks in front of the castle, then head to premiem seating. You have 45 mins, I am almost always there by 10pm. They will stop you as you enter the Frontierland area for about 5 mins as crowds disperse. Just wait, there will be plenty of time. Your seat will be there when you get there.

Sorry for jumping in here, but Fantasmic! only occurs on weekends now correct?

I believe so. Probably next weekday showing will be thanksgiving or veterans day. Not sure though.

And as for the Monday showing of Fantasmic, I was surprised too and even when I called the first time they tried to tell me it wasn't showing that day but because of Columbus Day they are open until 11pm with 2 showings of Fantasmic. Not sure many people know cause as of last week there were still seats left.

If it's down for refurb, most I would guess it wouldn't be in the show (but ask a CM 'cause I could be very much in the wrong)....I"ve noticed if the Mark Twain is down for refurb, I don't think I saw it in the ending of the show....but the Columbia is a important part of the show, so hopefully I am wrong.

If the Columbia is down for refurb, then the show will NOT be presented. The have an alternate for the Mark Twain if it's down for refurb but not if the Columbia is in refurb.

Here is the entertainment schedule for Monday the 12th. It shows the 2 showings of Fantasmic along with the Columbia being down for refurb? Maybe it won't be running for guests but still be able to run in Fantasmic? Has that ever happened?

Ok, so looks like the Columbia has been taken off the refurb list for the 12th. Yay! And I called and was told if I went to Guest Services they should be able to print the tickets the day prior. Thanks everyone!! 11 days and counting!

when i was at the fantasmic reserved seating in 2006 we found out that if you see the first showing of fantasmic they would let you stay in the seating area until the fireworks show was done and you could view pretty much all of the show from there didnt really obstruct too much...not sure if that is still an option but at least at that time it was

Columbia will be closed for guests.

Fantasmic! cannot run without Columbia, so it will be in the show.
