[Question] Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 "The fountain of Youth"

So I know The new Pirates 4 Movie is set to premier in 2011, It seem's like so far away but in reality it could be here in a year and 5 Month's, "Give or take a few Month's. My question is who went to the Pirates 3 Premier? Or any other premier for that matter. I luckily heard about the premier from a tram driver and just barely made it out, In my opinion it was great, Im excited for the next premier I was just wondering if anyone else has thought about it lately. Did anyone pay the 1500 to be apart of the premier? I hope that for the next one we all can plan a pirates party or something like that. Im curious to see if anyone is preparing or has any great stories of premiers past.

Pirates 4 is going to be called "On Stranger Tides", not "Fountain of Youth".

See Im already learning something new. Everywhere I looked on the web said it was going to be called the fountain of youth, I guess you cant believe everything you read.

I was at the Pirates 2 Premier and got to walk the Red Carpet at the Pirates 3 Premier. (Which was an amazing once-in-a-life time experience. I had tickets for that one given to me!)

I'm also looking forward to the next installment. (And will at least be at the Premier, even if not able to walk it this time! LOL)

Johnny Depp has in fact confirmed that he is on for the next Pirates intallment, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He confirmed all suspicions when he showed up at the D23 Expo in full Jack Sparrow attire.

It's also believed that Geoffrey Rush will also be returning to reprise the role of Captain Barbossa. Depp and Rush will be the only two from the original cast who are coming back.

I agree. Personally, I think that they should have stopped at the first movie; the third movie was really pushing it. I understand that they're doing this next one for the fans, and of course I'll see it, but enough's enough ya know?

That was BEFORE Cook was fired. Currently there is doubt, even within Disney (the studio is looking for a replacement just in case) as to whether he will be able to be bought for the next film.

But whatever the situation, if the film isn't any better than the last two, I'll probably skip it.

What's the info on a premier like this inside the park? Do you have to pay to go to the premier, or do you just have to wait in line for it? I'd like to go no matter what, just to say I went and experienced something like that.

The Premiere's are great, I really dont know about previous premieres although I do know about the third one. The at worlds end Premiere, It was just the normal cost to get into the park, they had a huge red carpet stretching from the entrance to the back of the park. Just before sunset the crowds were very intense filling the rail's looking for the right spot to see there favorite stars, Some waiting as early as 4am just to reserve the perfect spot. There were performers entertaining us on stilts dressed as pirates to bring smiles to us all. All the stars of the movie were there to attend all but Keira Knightly, She was away filiming another movie. They posed for pictures and signed autographs for everyone along the red carpet. They had a huge television screen where fantasmic is and bleachers across the water on the banks where the seating for fantasmic is. They had a deal where if you bought your ticket in advance for 1500.00 You could actually walk the red carpet and get a seat to watch the premiere along with the celebrities. We had a great time My Fiance got autographs from Johnny dep, Orlando Bloom, Chad Michael Murray, and a few others. It was a great experience and something you definitly want to look into in 2011. I heard that the premiere most likely wasn't going to be at Disneyland. The crowds were so intense that it was just too much. My best friend went to the 3rd movie premiere, and she said that a lot of the actors had to fast walk the red carpet because they couldn't sign all of the thousands of autographs. They might have it in a more intimate setting this next time so it's not such a crazy mob of people, at least not a much as they've had in the past.
