  • [Question] Star Wars Weekends Question (With Props to 40 mph) for making me think the question

Ok so Star Tours gets a facelift in 2011.....We have Jedi Academy already making kids dreams come true (and making lightsaber sales soar).

Brought up by a thread by 40 mph about wishing there was an adult version of Jedi Academy......(I know that is unlikely ever to happen) ---but what about Photo ops....I think adults and kids alike would line up for a picture with Vader........Orlando has Star Wars Weekends........

Wouldn't the relaunch of Star Tours be the perfect chance for Disney to bring the Star Wars weekend fun out to the West Coast? Is there a possibility of us West coasters finally getting Star Wars weekends....Character photo ops...etc..?

A love of Disney that sometimes borders on the edge of crazy ---but I'm okay with that

It's probably most likely that once Star Tours reopens, there will be Star Wars characters walking around for photo ops and autographs.

As for a Star Wars Weekend, probably a smaller scale. DL TL is too small, WDW has a larger area dedicated to all things Star Wars.

Of course if they do --I'm sure they would spread it out into DCA Hollywood area as well... make people that are coming from a far get parkhoppers.
But I'd break out the Snuggie for a photo op with some Star Wars characters
