[Chat] Naughty Ride Pics.

I went to Disneyland resort this past weekend and for the most part had a blast. The only downer of the night was when my girlfriend and I we exiting TOT. As we were checking out our ride pic we saw a group of teenagers laughing and taking pictures with their phones of one of the screens. We walked up to the screen and found that 3 of the teenagers were sticking their middle fingers up at the camera. We let a cast member know what was going on asked if someone was screening pics. They said unfortunatly they don't have a picture screener anymore but if the people try to buy the picture the castmembers wouldn't let them. The problem with that is the teenagers have already taken the pictures on their phones and other children on the same elevator already saw the pic. I really think Disney needs to spend some cash and get castmembers to watch the ride pics again. Ok thats my rant.

Now in an effort to turn this into a positive thread whats the funniest ride pic you've seen or have pulled off. My girlfriend and I have pulled out a Map and took a pic like we were reading it and were lost while going down the fall on Splash mountain. And I have always wanted to pull out a wooden sign with "Yikes!!" on in ala wily e. coyote on TOT. (don't steal that one from me.)

Yeah, some people are stupid and take dumb pics on rides. I'm sorry you had to experience this. There really are good teenagers out there, believe it or not. :]
I don't think I've ever really done anything funny in a pic. Haha. I'll shall try when I go this Friday!

Who really cares about the photo they took? Sounds to me you need to mind your own business. Just my suggestion.

Disagree. Somewhat at least. If the photo was a personal photo of the group of teens, then okay. HOWEVER, since it was at a public place where the photo had another group of guests, possibly children, then it is a completely different situation.

Simply stating, keep the naughty to yourself. If it WILL be seen by others, then don't do it at all...

If the teenagers were the only one's on the ride... say Splash Mountain, then who cares? But this is ToT and there are bound to be other people on the ride who, perhaps, were looking forward to getting the ToT picture until teenagers ruined it.

I've seen whole groups of girls 'applying' lipstick and gazing into compacts nonchalantly while on a log flume (not at DLR). I must say they gave me a laugh. Totally unexpected.

This is interesting. I wonder how much kicking and screaming it would take for them to escort you back on the ride to capture a picture that you WERE allowed to purchase? If I had my heart set on a ToT ride photo (for some strange reason...) I would throw a fit that I just waited an hour in line because I wanted a picture from the ride and now I couldn't buy it because of some teenagers. How is that any sort of punishment to the kids that actually caused the problem? Maybe they need a blob of mysterious matter from the Twilight Zone to put over people that are objectionable, and let the people that want to buy the photo buy the photo.

My friends and I all wore homemade monkey masks on the tower of terror beforee, that picture came out pretty funny

I've seen one like this but instead of make up they were all texting on their cell phones like they didn't care about the ride.

A couple of weeks ago these teenage girls had taken off their shirts and had bikini tops underneath and the guy in the group took off his shirt and was sticking out his chest with his hand up against his nipple (kind of like the "Oh Billy" scene in the Cable guy)...I found it funny anyway.

haha nice...see, that's "daring" but not risque....
pretty clever on their end. Now it depends on what the dude's chest looks like.....hopefully not all hairy and fat....that'd ruin it....lol

It can be possibly funny. The issue is that is if its appropriate. It's a family environment with lots of kids at the park. If I were a parent, seeing this happen where my kids would be present and also be in the picture is something I would be really upset about.

Once again, a group of stupid teenagers that don't even have a remote sense of reason or morale.

And tarnishing the image of the "teenager" for the rest of us. As people have said, there are teenagers out there you can actually hang out with for a few minutes before they get annoying. (I should know)

I totally believe there are good teenagers out there I work with alot of them. It sucks when a few ruin it for others. But I think the issue is with Disney and not having the precautions in place anymore to stay away from these problems.

If Disney needs a picture scanner person, I'd happily do it for free.

Heck, I am surprised that it's not automated/computerized anymore. With facial recognition technology, I am sure what is recognized can easily be modified to other things such as "topless bodies," various hand signs, etc.
