[Question] What do the people in front of the control booths do during Fantasmic?

I've noticed that during showings of Fantasmic!, there are a few people sitting the the front row, control booths in front of them. I also saw that they were wearing headphones. What do they do? Do they control the fireworks?

From my knowledge, everything is run by the show computer. They likely oversee the whole show and that nothing goes wrong. If something goes wrong, they are there to either fix it or shut down the show.
