I preferably like nightime at the resort, it's where everything is much awesomer.

Re: Favorite Time Of Day at the Resort
The first two hours after opening (on days where they open at 8a) are pure BLISS- there are no lines for anything and the park isn't crowded. So, you can actually enjoy yourself anywhere, and not just in a few scattered spots throughout the park.Last edited by dland_lover; 10-07-2009, 05:38 PM.

Re: Favorite Time Of Day at the Resort
Give me the darkness and shadows and everyone else going home! Give me the reflected lights dancing on the water and a chill in the air! Give me a last-minute scramble to squeeze 2 or 3 more E-ticket rides! Give me that impulse buy (koosh-ball pen?) to try to stop the fun from ending!

Re: Favorite Time Of Day at the Resort
I really just cannot pick a favorite! I truly love them all. Personally, I would have divided it into morning, midday, afternoon, and evening. In the morning, there's that exciting feeling of freshness, both in myself and in the park. Everything's ready to go, and there's a whole day ahead of us. During midday, things heat up a bit, and there are lots of rides to go on - it's kind of the fastest, most "productive" part of the day for most of my trips. The late afternoon ushers in a bit of a sadness as it reminds us the visit is finite, but the changing light is also exciting. Then night comes along, and all hints of sadness are flushed away as the park's appearance changes altogether, making for an entirely different experience for the last glorious few hours. I guess I'd probably pick either morning or night...those are probably the most emotionally poignant parts of a day in the park for me, but that whole period from the late morning to dusk sure occupies a lot of time...lots of good memories there.
