A long time ago, my parents and I would always have lunch at Capt. Hook's Galley. Yummy meatball sandwiches for me and Dad, and clam chowder for Mom. And delicious chocolate cake for dessert.

General decline of food service at DL is a major disappointment each time we go. $50 at the mexican joint in FL and really was not even as good as Taco Bell. So sad.

In the late 80's, as teenagers, we used to go to the Village Haus for yummy chili cheese fries. Now we go because my kids like the Village Haus decor but the food is HORRIBLE!

There was a candy the Main Street store used to sell called "Splatter Ball's. They looked just like regular jawbreakers on the outside, but they could be easily crunched like a sweet tart. I'm guessing they stopped selling them because people probably thought they were jawbreakers. But I haven't met one other person who seems to even remember these, and I can't find them anywhere now!

There was the lemon tarts, and the orange juice and lemonade bars from th Citrus House. And also the Welch's grape juice bars.

So much better than Dole Whips!

I remember the Village Haus restaurant used to have pretty good meatball sandwiches. The summer of '94 was the last time I remember them being there. By my next trip they were gone...so disappointing! Now there's just the generic Quick Service fare.

Is there a particular food Disneyland has discontinued serving that you miss?
