Just got back from a trip to the parks tonight. What a madhouse! We parked in Downtown Disney as we had shopping to do, plus we made the trip to pick up my daughter's gift card as it was her birthday today.
Wall to wall people all the way up Downtown Disney, LOOOOONG lines at security, and Disneyland was officially full as of 8:00 pm when we were there.
When you combine the 3 day weekend for those who have Columbus Day off with the Trick or Treat party at DCA, this is what happens. I don't know when I've seen it so crowded before.
When Disneyland has hit capacity in the past, usually they send them over to DCA. But with the Trick or Treat party going on, they are simply turning people away.
We are having my daughter's party tomorrow at Disneyland (scavenger hunt, etc) and we needed to buy extra tickets tonight. But they wouldn't let us! :bang:
What was up with that?
I understand that the park is full TONIGHT, but why in the world couldn't we buy tickets for TOMORROW??
The line in the Esplanade for the hand stamped guests stretched clear across to the other side, up against DCA.
After completing our shopping, we waded through the mob back to the car. Lines of cars were still streaming into Mickey and Friends with the line going back to Ball Rd.
Insanity.
