When I was a baby Mr. Toad used to freak me out
And the gun shot on the Jungle Cruise still scare me
All of the animals that came at you in HISTA also scared me
Thank goodness they got rid of it

The rocks and buyoys on the side with the fog and lighting doesn't help either.

The Pinocchio ride is also, of course, a permanent no-go with me. I can't even watch a YouTube video of it without getting freaked out at that whale.

I know how you feel. Dark water scares me too. The whale on pinochio really scares me. Every time I pass him I move my arms away and try to move away from him. Snow white kind of scares me too. Any of the dark rides that have water just make me nervous. And the submarines really scare me. The fish freak me out and I'm afraid that... I don't even know what about them scares me, they just do.

I personally have a fear of falling. I hate the sensation of my stomach coming up in my throat over a drop. I grit my teeth and brace myself every time I ride pOTC and I can't even handle SM. I can barely tolerate BTMRR. Rationally I know that I'm safe but it scares the bejeusus out of me and the one time I went on SM I was literally hyperventilating after the big drop.
Here Here..I'm the same with SM...I hate it even more if there is a big line and I go on it just to please my nephew (cause he loves it) because I set myself up for the big drop and I'm the only one who will go on it with him...from the moment I sit down on the log I'm already anticipating the drop and I literally have to slunch down when the drop hits..cause I don't want to feel the drop

As a kid I used to be afraid of HM..just because I saw the outside and it just looked creepy..but now it is one of my favorite rides of all time

When riding BLAB I really think we are battling Zurg in space...but that's just me.

If you breathe in while walking past the graveyard outside the Haunted Mansion, the souls of the dead can enter your body.

I keep thinking that if I ride Roger Rabbit that I'm going to fall out of the car and get dragged underneath causing internal injuries and permanent brain damage.

I know its silly and that it could never happen but , Oh, wait. . . . Nevermind.

Fantasyland Dark rides have always freaked me out, The old hag is within spitting distance of your vehicle, The ending of Mr Toads Wild Ride, The Whale in Pinocchio. And all of these were meant for Young Children!

Mr. Toad used to freak me out when I was a kid (well this was at WDW) because my mom told me that I was "driving" and I had no control over where I was going! I thought in my silly child-mind that I was crashing into things. And then when we got hit by the train and went to Hell.....yikes! I cried and swore I would never go on that ride every again! Well...I went on the DL version this past summer and I thought it was sort of fun! Although a ride where you go to Hell is messed up for a kid!

In Silver Dollar City (in Branson, MO) there is a ride called "Fire in the Hole" that had a scene where a town was on fire (very much like on POTC). That scene from that ride gave me nightmares for a large part of my childhood, so whenever I see the POTC fire scene, I close my eyes.

I know what you mean about an empty park. A few years ago we are at the MK in WDW at closing. I was the only person in this huge bathroom and there was this sound effect of stitch scurrying around and telling me it was time to go. From that moment on I decided never to go into one of those bathrooms alone.

LOL, why was he telling you to go? Like go pee or leave the park?

    ROFL

there was one person that got on tower of terror on my elevator(we were in the top row when we all set down..she looked nervous as all h##l.we asked if she was ok..and she said she was so scared of heights but a friend of hers who she was rideing it with said this could help her fear...
I thought " help make em worse" ,we wished her good luck and the ride started..she was doin fine all the way up through the lift to the top....then the drop happend...that poor poor girl screamed bloody murder through out the ride..it was actualy adding a nice ambiance to the ride..and i would have enjoyed it .ifi had not had known this girl was actually scared to death.. when it was over she was weak in the knees and white as a sheet..she swore she would never ever ride it again..and if my fear was that bad to begin with...she was either braver then i thought or dumber..im not sure witch..

I'm afraid of heights and elevators, so Tower of Terror is NOT for me.

You're braver then I am, I won't even consider riding tower of terror, it was a life time achievement to ride Splash Mountain, lol!

Yeah, I wish the one time I could have appreciated the effects more. Too bad I had my eyes shut for most of the ride with a death grip on my husband. LOL:lol:

I used to be scared to death of Splash Mountain when I was a kid, but not for conventional reasons For some reason I never saw where you come out and around after the big drop and it freaked me out. I used to think, once you dropped...good-bye! Mind you I was about 5 at the time, and it took me a few years to curb that fear. LOL

I also used to be afraid of Mr. Toad's Wild ride where you go through Hell. It got so hot and steamy it used to make me scream, thinking it was real fire. LOL

Nowadays, the only thing that freaks me out is Tower of Terror. I hate heights, especially when you drop suddenly. I've only been on it once, and once was enough for me!
