So I am going to Disneyland in a couple weeks and heard that you can pay for reserved seating for Fantasmic. I think I heard it's like 40 dollars and you get served some kind of food or dessert. Does anyone know about this or where to get this information. Thanks.

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
Shows and Tours are handled by ticketing. Call 714-781-4400 between 8 am and 5 pm daily for reservations. Shows are available for reservations starting 30 days in advance. Current prices are $59 for Adults and $49 for children 3 to 9.
You get a dessert tray, beverage service (water, coffee, hot chocolate or soda) and a nice seat for the show.

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
I did this on Friday.
The cost is $63. There's no discount for passholders.
You'll get a really large snack/dessert box with cheeses, grapes, truffles, chocolates, and other sweets, as well as coffee or hot chocolate (the CM there jazzed it up for us by combining the two as a Mocha).
The seating is one level back from the water's edge near the French Market.
Here's the rub: don't go paying for reserved seating thinking that you won't have to wait around. On the contrary: you'll have to line up beginning around 7pm to check in and choose your reserved seat. Because it's first come, first served, the line to choose grows quickly, and you won't be allowed in to make your choice until 8pm. EVEN if you are going to the 10:30 show. So, no matter what, you're gonna be standing in a line for an hour even though you bought tickets a month in advance.MiceChat from Main Street.MiceChat goes mobile with the Mouseaddict app for iPhone and iPad! The Wolfpack loved it and won't do it any other way. Sitting on the hard ground for 3-4 hours before the first show is very uncomfortable and quite boring. We waited about 45 minutes prior to picking our seat (front row) then took off until 15 minutes prior to the show. It was well worth it!
The desserts were yummy and lots of them (we shouldn't have eaten dinner prior). Service was great also.Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,it's what they are like in their HEART!

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
We have waited to see the show in the standing only area, and we latter got the seating. If you have the cash to spare I prefer the seating.
We are planning on doing it again.
Great seats.
Great snaks (dont eat before hand though) and a lot of them.
The CM that served us was great.
In short it is all what you prefer. Some will not think it is worth it others will only want to see the show from the premier seating.
It is a great way to celebrate a special occasion.

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
We did the dessert in August. We had a blast. The waiting in line to pick your seats wasn't the best, but well worth it. Being able to sit in padded seats and not have to wait hours for good seats was awesome. The desserts were wonderful and the CM's were great. We ended up watching the fireworks from our seats as well. It is on the expensive side, but well worth it if you can afford it.

I think it's WAY overpriced, and the seating isn't that great either. Hundreds of others get the same, or even better view for free. I'd rather spend my money on something else. Now if the seating was front and center, or if it was in the old Disney Gallery Balcony, then it might be worth considering.Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. Is the snacks and drink all you can eat? If so, I might be willing to book in advance.
Any pictures of the food?

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
This is a photo of the desert tray with the lid still on.
This was taken by my daughter, I thought she was crazy but now i seethe wisdom of her ways
The tray is about 9in X 9in.
There is a lot of stuff there and not everyone could finish there tray.
I forced myselft and ate the whole thing.)
This is not part of a tour it is stand alone.
You can call the number posted earlier in the thread or press your luck and go to city hall in the morning. It worked for us.
hope you find this help full, I found it tasty.

I want that Box of Dessert! Yummy! So is this one per person? So when you finish can you get some more?
If so, I will take like 3 boxes home.
You can check it out at smugmug Asianbm's Photos click on "what we ate in Florida."

Re: Reserved seating for Fantasmic
There's another reserved seating next to the padded seats. If you know someone at Disney, they can get you into this section. It's the roped off steps. We got to sit there during a Fantasmic performance back in July. It was great because we didn't have to wait around or anything, just go up whenever we wanted. The video below includes pics and video I took from those steps and I didn't have pay one red cent!
