The park closes at 9 that day and I want to see the fireworks in case they are cancelled due to winds when I am back on Saturday. Is it possible to leave the park immediately after fireworks and make it to Sinister Pointe (where the Silent Hill maze is) by 10? Any tips?

I would watch from the top of the parking structure, where there is still a great view. From there, exit the parking structure and try to take Ball Road east to the 57 freeway. If you have to get on the 5 freeway (due to Anaheim PD coning off the Ball Road exit of the parking structure), simply take the 5 freeway south, get off at Harbor Blvd. and go north to Ball Road and make a right, taking it to the 57 north. It should take about 20 minutes, unless there is a lot of traffic, which there should not be on a Thursday evening.

I'll estimate that it will take you about 45 minutes to an hour to get from Mickey n Friends to the Imperial Hwy exit if you choose to watch the watch the fireworks from inside the park. Also, Sinister Pointe is in a crappy area as far as parking and traffic are concerned. Instead of dealing with the drama of trying to get to the left turn lane on Imp Hwy from the 57 north it will be quicker for you to make a right at the exit, drive down two blocks and then do a U-turn. It will probably get you there a little quicker given that all of Brea will probably be going to this event, oh yea and don't be afraid to park around the warehouses out back, most people don't park there because everything is labeled 'private parking' but nobody is really using them at 10 in the evening anyway.Comment

45 minutes to an hour at the least. I wouldn't attempt it. The Fireworks have been known to be delayed regularly. The Parking Structure view is not the best place, unless you just want to see fireworks with no music or show along with them. Oh.. and also, game 5 of the ALCS will be played at the big A and will be a night game. If the game ends at the bottom of the 9th then you can expect to see some heavy traffic on the northbound 57 as well as the sidestreets. And for the love of all things good make sure that you STAY AWAY from Katella when the Angels are playing.Comment
