Makes sense. With weather improving in socal tomorrow night, I am sure the crowd levels will suddenly spike for those that decided to cancel these past 2 days due to the rains.

They are doing it every Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun Weekend for October.

Is this true? That would be great, I am there all of Halloween week and the calendar on Disneyland.com shows they close at 9pm. I hope they are open later.

Does this mean Fantasmic! is being shown on Thursday nights too?

On the DL website... it dosen't list a time for Fantasmic tonight! Only Fireworks at 9:25

On the 22nd (a thursday)... it list the park hours from 9 to 9.

We were there last Thursday (the 8th) and they announced that night that they were staying open until 11pm. The crowds must make extending the hours worth it to them. I know our whole trip (thurs, fri, sat- at the parks) was a lot more crowded than when we went during the same time in 2007.
