[Pictures] Vintage Disneyland Hotel Photos

I recently purchased vintage Disneyland Hotel footage on 16mm film from an online auction. I had the film converted to DVD and copied some still images which I am sharing here.

Watch as our beautiful blonde model drives into the (1957) Disneyland Hotel, checks in, peruses the grounds, shops, goes for a swim, adjusts her 24" RCA TV and then dines at the Gourmet Restaurant. Note the oranges on the trees which was a feature at the Original Disneyland Hotel.

Internal pictures inside the original shops are very rare. These photos were still images for a film that was made to create a commercial for the Disneyland Hotel back in 1957. The commercial, which never ran, was slated to be displayed in early 1958 and featured a beautiful Marilyn Monroe look-alike model and her trip to the Disneyland Hotel.

wow people looked so classy going to Disneyland back in the day.

I think I may wear a tuxedo when I go this weekend to help bring the class back to the park.
