maybe i've missed another thread about this- but has anyone else noticed that the pirate with the dirty foot [the one that sits on the bridge and his foot dangles off over your head as your boat glides through the arch] is missing? how long has he been missing? where did he go? when is he coming back?

In early-mid August his neck was broken - his head was hanging down on his chest. I figure the took him out for repairs. Also, on the drunk pirate with the kittens, the kitten on the right was out for repairs, came back with it's head snapping back and forth too fast, and has been taken out again..Comment

He was missing a few years back on the last day POTC was open before getting shutdown for the Capt Jack makeover. I'm sure he'll make a return especially considering how well known he is.
On my last trip down, the Donkey that is next to the three singing pirates in the beginning of the fire scene was missing on our last day (The barn door his head usually sticks out of was closed). I have a feeling that the AAs are very easy to remove for repair and that we shouldn't worry about it much.Mike_M

We always called him "Dirty Foot Pirate" because when my son was little he always noticed his dirty foot. I also noticed he was gone last week when we were there.

And after going on the ride a million times (yes, trumped up number, but you get the point) I just noticed that the wall to the right of the donkey is just scrim. He was gone when we went to Disneyland just prior to Talk Like A Pirate Day ( September 18th) as well...The donkey was back though.
I don't think the fireflies were working that day either.
Davy Jones was fully functional.
