[Question] Life As A Jungle Cruise Skipper Monlouge

Hey guys im in my last year of school at the moment and have to do an individual performance which is a monolouge and i was wondering if anyone knows of a monolouge about the life of a jungle cruise skipper

Not the actual script of the cruise although some of the jokes could be in there

just a script about the life of one

What exactly do you want to know?

I want to know if theres a script out there about the story of a jungle cruise skipper, sort of like skipper dan teh song but a script not a song (Songs dont transfer well into monolouges :P )

Minor clarification... are you looking for the backstory of the Jungle characters or a "day in the life" of the CM Skip?

As to how "we" ended up being Jungle Skips it really depends on the individual. Some have wanted to do it since they were little kids. Others just ended up on the river by sheer chance. When you hire in you can request a certain attraction but there are no promises. Jungle's weird in that it tends to sort people out. It's a "like it or leave it" attraction. Many who hire in either can't stand working it, or they grow to love it. It also changes people, in a good way. I've seen countless Skips who were terrified of public speaking and being in the spotlight. Now, well let's say they are a lot more vocal and willing to let the light shine on them.

The antics thread cited earlier has a lot of material not covered in Mouse Tales. Mouse Tales also has a lot of funny material (written by a friend of mine). What you have to take into account though is that those are highlights, not "average" days. To steal a favorite line "anything can happen on any given Sunday". You never really know how the day is going to turn out.

The reward of being a Jungle Skip is knowing that you brought magic to the most important audience of all... the kids. Nothing can really compare to the awe struck looks of small children who believe in the magic and experience the Jungle as a real safari adventure. Every Skip has a story about a little kid that made them cry and reminded them of what the Disney magic is all about.
