....that reminds you of the magic of disneyland?

Mine is a piece of the mickey confetti that was shot out at the premire of Magical. I keep it in my wallet and every time I see it I remember stoping in the middle of main street, picking it up and looking at the castle.

I usually keep my park ticket and any unused FastPasses these days...and, of course, lots of photos. Nothing too unusual.

I kept literally everything... ticket books even if there was just a single A ticket left, guidebooks and wall maps, the parking voucher, the Mickey hat with my name embroidered on it, even the bags that souvenirs were put in, the original Pirates full-color book, the original Haunted Mansion LP album with the pages you turned, the Haunted Mansion portrait cards with the glow-in-the-dark overprints, I even had a 45 RPM record of "it's a small world," I admit it. Sadly my Dad's 2nd wife threw away everything when I went away to college. Some of the items would be worth hundreds of dollars to collectors now.

that would be awesome to have an actul ticket book left. how i would die for that piece of paper...or really really want.

I collect Fast Passes. I have 4 Buzz Lightyears, 1 Space Mountain, 1 Splash Mountain, 2 Soar'n, 1 TOT, and a Scream'n.

The confetti is a great idea! I have some water, from a ride, some leaves. I have that type of stuff in gold panning vials...if that makes sense. I'll keep fastpass stuff....but as far ask dorky goes...probably dirt, leaves, and water are my main culprit.

I was mad but I don't remember doing anything about it. I already hated her before that. That wasn't all she threw out, my entire record collection including the original Sgt. Pepper's album with the paper cutouts, the Beatles' white album with the poster and 4 pictures, the Stones' original Exile on Main Street with the set of postcards, and dozens of other records, all original printings. Plus my entire fireworks collection and a bunch of other stuff. For some weird reason she did not throw out my stamp collection. Maybe because it was all in albums. But she threw away everything else. I was mad about the Disneyland stuff being gone, but just shortly after that they announced that ticket books were history and it was all going to be unlimited rides with admission. So that softened the blow a tiny bit. Then they had a short period of time where they were letting you trade in unused tickets, I don't know what for, maybe for credit on buying a Passport. I don't remember the details, but the tickets weren't worthless. So I got mad again. The Haunted Mansion record is the one that I miss the most, we used to play it on the living room stereo and turn the lights off. And I got a lot of use out of Disney's "Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House" at Halloween. I'm not ever going to try to replace those items though.

After 'Celebrate' passed us, I was on Main Street picking up Mickey confetti, so I'm glad I'm not the only one. I also kept my park map

Back in 2003, I went to Disney World with my grandson and his mom. We stayed at the Contemporary and we had fun at all the parks. I remember the very first time that I ever went to MGM. It was on that trip. At the end of a very long wonderful day, my grandson, Sean wanted that Mylar Balloon of Mickey. I still have it. Of course, to get it home on the plane, I deflated it. However, I think MGM, and I think about that balloon,



I'm Dorky! I just reread the OP's original question, and realized that this was about Disneyland.
I also have that crown that my grandson is wearing in this picture. That was taken in 2006, I believe. I realize it's DCA, but I also saved his pirate hat, from Blue Bayou. If it can be folded up, or flattened in the suitcase, it comes home with me.

It's not from Disneyland, but when I went to Disney World for the first time earlier this year I saved my fastpass for Peter Pan. Because just seeing that they had fastpass for that ride just blew my mind. XD

I keep unused fastpasses and I always grab a map and keep it. I have a huge book of Disneyland maps! Haha. I'm so pathetic that I think I may even began collecting napkins from Disneyland sometime. Oh, and sometimes I keep the merchandise bags. :/ haha
