Crows like high perches so they can get a good view of the surrounding area. They are very visually oriented and opportunistic--they want to be the first to know when some kid drops a perfectly good churro half in Frontierland.

What I find strange is Crows are always at Disneyland and Seagulls are always at DCA. Is there some type of bird segregation going on here??

But you see, that's how they have fun at Disneyland.

Same answer as to how Disneyworld survives hurricanes, Tinkerbell uses her fairy dust and takes care of it.

We have tons of crows around our neighborhood (in San Diego) at this time of year. October, November, December we see hundreds of crows in the canyon sometimes. I think they are all over southern California.

Crows have been living in the area for thousands of years, long before Disneyland was ever thought of.

The last time I was at the park, I saw a crow bathing in one of the waterfalls on the Matterhorn. It would hop into the water, splash around, hop out, shake off, repeat.

Crows usually seem to hang out on the westside (maybe crows aren't in our future?). I remember walking down West St once in the '90s (we walked to the Disneyland Hotel and walk around go into the shops and buy sweets) and it seemed like there were a bunch of crows on in that area, too.

I remember a few years ago, I coincidentally went to Disneyland on "Bat Day." I guess it was tradition for all of the attendants of the festival to meet up at Haunted Mansion at 6 PM..and as I passed by..NO JOKE..hundreds of crows were circling the Mansion. I thought it was SO cool with everyone dressed up and waiting to get onto the ride..

I don't normally see the crows over HM, they always seem to be toward frontierland or adventureland
