So this is my first official trip report.
We took my daughter to Disneyland for her 7th birthday! I surprised her at her party with a box full of helium balloons attached to a stuffed Mickey that said we are going to Disneyland (Trying to imitate the commercials). Once I figure out how to load video I will show that part.
Well anyways off to the trip report!
Here is my son super excited to visit Disneyland for Halloween. At this point we are on the I5 south about 10 minutes away.

Surprisingly we started our trip in DCA. It was more so because we stayed at the Grand Californian and it was a closer entrance.
I loved all the decorations for Candy Corn Acres, it was super cute.

In this one I really have no idea what my son was doing but hey I do know he was having fun! And Yes my daughter is missing her wings, but they really wouldn't work on the rides.

SO I have never taken a picture of this and need new spots for the scrapbook

After riding Monsters Inc. we saw Woody taking photos with the kids. When we got in line the CM said Woody was leaving and we'd have to come back. But as soon as she saw my son Charles dressed as Woody she said "Oh he has to see him just wait right here for a minute." And she brought Woody to see the kids!

After a few more rides at DCA we headed over to Disneyland.
I love these

Of course the must pic for every trip to Disney

Once inside Disneyland we stopped at the hub for a few photos of the pumpkins. I am sure all of you have seen them, but just by chance you haven't here is you chance!

After that it was off to tomorrowland to grab some fast passes for Space. While my daughter and I did that my husband and son rode the rockets.

We also rode Star Tours. Which my son just loved. This was his first trip that he was finally 40". So he had a lot of firsts this time around!
Yay off to frontier land. And Charles' first trip on BTMRR He loved it the entire time he kept saying: This is so much fun!

After riding a few more rides that afternoon I went a got an awesome spot for the fireworks. Granted I had to wait 2 1/2 hours. (Which we never do) But I really wanted to see this show! After we all ate my husband took the kids to Tomorrowland to have some fun. I didn't take any pics of the fireworks, just video this time.

Knowing we still had 3 more days in the park we went to the Plaza Pavillion and exchanged our paper passes for the annual passes and Charles got to take his first picture for his very first annual pass. After that we went back to our room.
Here are a few shots from our room

Day 2 still to come........
