[Fun] Longest time you waited in line for a ride?

Some of you may or may not believe this, especially if you are youngsters, but there was time, years ago, when there was no such thing as a "fastpass" and the truly hardcore and elite would wait in line for 80 - 120 minutes just to listen to a bunch of audio-animatronic animals sing songs from a movie that has still not been released on DVD (Here's looking at you Splash Mountain)

So for those of you who went to the Disney parks before the creation of the FASTPASS or for those of you, unlucky enough to not recieve a FASTPASS and actually having to wait in line.

What is the longest time you have waited in line for an attraction?

EDIT: The only distinct memory I had of the longest time I waited for an attraction was a few years ago, when the newly "updated" Pirates of the Carribean opened Day One on my birthday, the line spanned from the ride itself to the middle of Main Street. Apart from the slowdowns and being stuck listening to Davy Jones for 15 minutes, it was a blast.

I have no memory of waiting longer than an hour. [EDIT: Okay, Rocket Rods were probably closer to two hours. That was painful, though I have fond memories of the attraction.] I'd just as soon find something else with fewer people waiting for it.

40 minutes, submarine voyage. did it once, don't need to do it again.

At Disneyland 2 hours and 10 minutes for Nemo.At Magic Mountain 4 hours for Roaring Rapids

I remember before fastpass, most e tickets were 2 1/2 hours... remember my family and i waiting for indy when it was new and that line was on main street it took forever

I recall waiting for Rocket Rods for 4.5 hours.

I didn't do it, but I was in high school when Space Mountain opened in May 1977, and we heard on the radio that the waiting line for it was 3 hours long. This was unheard of at that time. And that was still in the era of ticket books - they had to present an E ticket. The next day we heard that the line was 5 hours long, and went all the way to the Main Street train station.

The longest I can recall waiting for something was for IASW Holiday's first season. The line was nearly two hours, started near Matterhorn, and used the entire Motorboat Cruise queue AND Light Magic view area.

The day after Pirates 2 premiere, I was eating breakfast at Riverbelle Terrace. PotC wasn't open yet, but CMs began to gather at the entrance. A few minutes later, they opened up the queue and we rushed towards it. We ended up being one of the first hundred people to experience the new PotC.

EDIT: Okay, Rocket Rods were probably closer to two hours.

RR was probably the second-longest line I ever waited in. Probably the reason I only rode it once.

Do grand openings count? Cause then that pretty much blows any normal wait times out of the water. I know TSMM was about 4 hours, and nemo started at like 6 I think, but Indy got to like 8 - 10 hours back in '95.

But as far as regular park waits go, I used to wait 140+ mins for space, splash, and most of the other E tickets. But I do remember those wait boards displaying 210+ mins back before FP came around.

When Indy first opened we waited all the way by Tiki Room for it... I can't remember the exact wait time
When Rocket Rods was still open, we waited 3 hrs for it!! Sadly, I'm one of a few people who actually liked the ride so it was almost worth it
Lately, the longest was 2 hrs for Nemo

2:30 for nemo, 3 hours grr (the parks were packed that day. everything was just as bad because it was the last day before summer blackouts), and almost 2 hours for rocket rods but the ride broke down while i was on, it so i was stuck on the track for 3 hours, toataling in 5 hours on that ride.

It was 3 1/2 hours and it was for Rocket Rods!!!!!!!!

As a kid, I remember waiting 4 hours for Star Tours on opening day. The line was all the way down Main Street.

WOW, you guys are seriously hardcore. I want to say this past weekend when I waited 90 minutes for GG. (We had to go, so we had no choice but to go standby).

Everything else, all the other E-Tickets, no more than an hour.

The longest I have waited in line for anything at Disneyland in my lifetime was 3.5 hours for Indiana Jones when it was in the first opening month! Yes it was hella long and yes it was worth it! But the most important thing... as long as the line itself was, it kept moving... and why did it keep moving... Oh yeah... It didnt have fastpass... That 3.5 Hour wait was not at all unbearable because it didnt stand at a standstill while other people moved ahead... I have a love hate relationship with fastpass... on one hand its convenient and I use it but on the other hand I wish they took it out and went back to how things were in the old days aka the 90's.

Oh and I waited 90 minutes one time for Rocket Rods and this was shortly after park opening... Yeah the que never looked huge from the outside but keep in mind that circlevision theater was nothing but round switchbacks and always was full of people... I think that circlevision room took up the most of the time waiting in line!

One and a half hours for Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy just because of the projections on the mountain. That is the only reason I will wait in a line that long. For Nemo, I think is was also an hour and a half. Same for PFF,

For Magic Mountain, 4 hours for Tatsu.

I hated that room. You had to watch the same video like 12 times before you could move onto the next hallway witch was still another 30 min in there.

I waited for probably about 2 hours for Rocket Rods when it came out, but I'm not completely sure because I was probably only about 7 or 8 years old. (but it was definitely a long time, and my feet did not like it at all)
