O'La M'Chatters. If given the chance, who would you like to see have a hand in the writing process of an attraction, whether it be the story line, script, or songs at the Disneyland Resort? This question is all encompassing and could include an overlay, a show, a whole new ride/land, or even something as simple as a spiel or queue jokes...There are no wrong answers, only fun insight into our influences as individuals where we could compare or even brainstorm with our fellow M'Cers over what could be if we were in charge. I'm interested in seeing everyone's posts. So without further adieu:
Ride Story Lines/Scripts: Larry David & Seth Rogen. I know both have vulgarities in their work, but both have a very keen sense on what is funny and how to tell a story, and I'm sure could pull off an attraction individually or together. Based solely off the amount of times I've scene every Seinfeld episode, I'm sure Larry could definitely come up with something that is re rideable.
OVERLAY: I know NBC is here to stay at the Haunted Mansion, but I can't help but think about an Ammityville overlay. It could have a very ominous and dark and creepy/scary tone for HM during halloween, as opposed to the fun/comical feel it has now, but follow the same storyline. Basically an evil execution. Someone in another thread mentioned Marilyn Manson redoing the narration, and I think that'd be a good fit. I think Rob Zombie would be good to bring in for a visual influence. For all my salt, I can't figure out why Disneyland wouldn't make HM creepier for Halloween.
I'll stop there for now.................
