Hello, everyone. I've been lurking around MiceChat for awhile, but finally decided to create an account to share some pictures from my latest trip to the parks for my girlfriend's birthday. In the set, you'll find some pictures from around the parks, pictures from Mickey's Trick or Treat Party, and our dinner at Napa Rose. That was the my girlfriend's dessert for her birthday dinner @ Napa Rose. It's the apple crisp that's on the menu. I had a little piece of it and it was AMAZING!

Thanks! But I can't really take credit, as my girlfriend took a lot of the shots and did some of the minor Photoshop work.

your pictures are amazing. I am curious tho. how did you get such focused shots on It's a Small World? I have tried a hundred times at least to get clear shots of Lilo and Stitch on the surf board and stuff and they always come out blurry! Also, your night shots are fantastic as well. Did you use a tripod?

It's funny because I don't really remember how we got those shots on Small World, but I think we turned the ISO up a bit. If you look at the EXIF data on Flickr, the Lilo and Stitch shot is using ISO 3200. That, plus a combination of our lens (it's a Canon EF 24-70mm 2.8L IS USM) probably helped us out a lot.

For the shots of the fireworks, it was all done handheld. As for the night time shots of the castle, halloween tree, and Snow White's wishing well, we used a small tabletop tripod; it does the trick and isn't too much of a hassle to carry around.

There was a bit of ice cream inside of the apple, though I don't remember the flavor. I'm pretty sure it was Vanilla though.

Thanks! My girlfriend actually took those shots. I was trying hard to get a solo shot of Mickey in his costume between kids running up to him with their autograph books, but couldn't get the shots without the kids. I tried for 10 minutes. My girlfriend takes the camera, yells "Mickey!" and he turns around and poses for her. sigh...
