Can I use my birthday fun card to upgrade to an annual pass? My annual pass is about to expire soon.

I believe you can...the only thing you can't use it on is food and beverage. But if somebody can confirm coz I'm not 100% sure!

You sure can! Just use it as partial payment toward whatever pass you choose.

I have another question to the people who have used the birthday fun card to renew. Can you use it to renew your pass online by giving the code numbers off the back of the fun card?

I don't think so, as they want the Full Payment on one card.

Well, the "naked truth" is being revealed about using fun cards toward annual passes, so you weren't that far off...

Another off-topic note, in reply to an earlier post here: You can use your "fun card" to buy food items and brewed coffee and the like at the Market House on Main Street, since it's considered "merchandise" there.

When I renewed mine earlier this month there were fields for redeeming up to three gift cards toward payment. Presumably Fun Cards are good here too because you can use them for admission media.

Has anyone else heard that the Birthday Fun Cards may expire at the end of the year? When I got mine this month the Cast Member told me they may expire on 12/31/09. I want to use it to renew my Pass in January.

I thought gift cards couldn't expire in California!

i got the Deluxe Passport at Costco that came with the $50 gift card. Using that and the birthday card, i upgraded to Premium when i renewed.

I don't think they are selling the Annual Passes anymore at Costco, I only saw the 4 day passes there now.

I could be wrong, and I'm sure someone will correct me if so.

But since you took the "fun card" in lieu of free admission in a promotion that ends 12/31/09, it isn't the same as a "gift card" that someone pays for specifically (as far as the law goes).
