[Question] Can you guys hear Disneyland Fireworks from your house

Hey Guys,

Can you guys here Disneyland Fireworks from your house? If so, where and how far is it from Disneyland?

I live in beautiful Walnut near Mt. Sac about 22 miles away. I sometime hear Disneyland fireworks from my house. I can only hear them if the atmosphere is just right or if it's windy and flowing my direction. I usually can hear it very well when I am in my room because it will echo.

I can; when they showed Remember during the 50th, I tried to match the blasts with the soundtrack. It kinda worked.

When I lived in Cerritos (12 miles from DLR) I could hear the fireworks every night, even with the windows closed. In February I moved about 5 miles down the 91 to Bellflower and can no longer hear them.

I live in Huntington Beach and I can hear them every night if i open up the windows.

The first night after my family moved to Anaheim, right around 9:25, my dad thought we were being bombed (seriously, it scared the you-know-what out of him). Oh yes, we could hear those fireworks quite clearly. I don't live there anymore and can no longer hear the fireworks from my home.

I can't hear them from our house, but I can hear them from the studio me and my band rehearse at in Orange. It's near the Honda Center, so really not too far from DL and DCA. And they do in fact sound like bombs hitting the ground if modern filmmaking is any indication of what they would sound like.

Every night....except when there is wind at higher elevations. We're about 10 miles away...over near Fullerton. And Asianbma...I work at Mt. SAC! I didn't know you could hear them all the way from Walnut. That's quite a distance.

It's funny that I can hear it from that far. My parents and relatives would call me crazy that I can hear it. I told them to come into my room to listen to it, but they still insist I was crazy and didn't want to go and listen for themselves.

Reason I can hear it, is because I live on top of the hill in surrounded by 2 hills. Which created some type of echo.

I just moved about a mile away from the resort, and boy do I enjoy the shows. I am wondering though if the music that is played with the fireworks is transmitted on a radio station locally around the park, sorta like they do for drive in movies. If so, maybe I can pirate onto it and finally truly enjoy the show? :P

I can not hear them. but i can see them from my school. The only good thing about it being up on a hill.

i can definitely NOT hear them.thats hella far...
maybe its a different noise because i doubt its the fire works.

I live in Newport about 15 miles south of DL. I can easily hear them every night. Even with the doors shut.

I see them from about 3 miles away. If the weather is right, you can actually hear the music!

i live about 5 miles away in Stanton and can hear them just fine. If i walk a block over or get on my roof, i get a distant visual. i grew up in my neighborhood and when the fireworks started popping, that's when most kids knew they had to get home (the equivalent of other kids' "You come home when the street lights go on").

Or you could just buy the soundtrack CD (if there is one).

Nope. Too far away. When my husband Russ was growing up, they lived in Anaheim and could both see and hear them every night.
