I know we have Toy Story Mania, But is just full of giant TV/projection Screen. You don't actually get to see the animatronic characters.
I want the new Toy Story Dark Ride. I want it to be based in that little kid room in Toy Story movie 1 and 2. Where we take a tour of his bedroom fill with toys.
BTW, I hated Finding Nemo Submarine ride. Why? because is like I'm watching a tv screens. I want to see animatronics not tv screens. Same goes for Toy Story Mania. Even though, I like riding and playing toy story mania
Something that utilizes the trackless technology developed for Pooh's Hunny Hunt at Tokyo Disneyland. Really, all new dark rides should use that unless there is a compelling reason for the vehicles to follow a linear path.

That would be interesting. The kid's name, for your future armchair imagineering attraction, is called Andy.

Interesting again, this could work for almost all dark rides. But, there might be a few dark rides that might be better left unchanged, like Peter Pan's Flight. (Still, I could see some great dark rides for this technology.)

my one wish for DLR would be that it would have an unlimited source of money to draw from so that it could keep getting more and more awesome without restriction.
My one wish isn't for a dark ride. It is to bring back the Keel Boats!

sigpic Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!
Check out my six action/adventure novels about Walt's lost diary and his epic quest. Visit my blog page!
This is a little off, but I would want a disney parks live video podcast 24/7. Where at any point in the day you can watch live video from a park from around the world....... Dreams.
I'd redesign the Haunted Mansion to use the trackless ride system used in Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo. And expand the Haunted Mansion to give it more "breathing room" between all the effects. The graveyard is too crowded. I'd bring back the old "pop-up" ghoul faces from the attic scene, but also have a camera that takes your picture during a lightning flash, uses face recognition software to extract your face from the photo, then projects your face onto one of the pop-ups that you go by later.
I would actually like to design an original dark ride. Not based on any movie franchise. It would be about Mickey Mouse going on an adventure and it would be involve him having to look for Minnie.
I would love animatronics displaying a lot of original dark scenes with mickey taking the role of a hero and put him through different scenarios trying to get to Minnie and her captor (Pete).
I know this sounds like a lot of old Mickey cartoons, but I love Mickey Mouse and I hate that they haven't used him in anything original. I have been writing drafts (I am a creative writing major) of Mickey going on an adventure and low and behold, a couple of months ago some video game company revealed a new game called "Epic mickey" which apparently pits Mickey against Oswald (because Oswald is jealous of Mickey's success and how Oswald has fallen into obscurity). I've been trying to come up for an original story for Mickey for about two years, and I think a dark ride would be cool. At least in my imagination it seems doable. And it has nothing to do with a movie franchise.
Oh well, the ride would begin at the queue where there are several murals of Mickey's past endeavors against Pete. I cannot think of what one would actually ride though. All I know is that I would love to have Mickey at some point fight a dragon (obviously inspired by Fantasmic), but still have Pete be the one responsible for kidnapping Minnie.
I think all this is much too convoluted, but I hope I have my idea across. Obviously, all of it is a "what if we could have a new ride" and I definitely would want Walt's most famous creation center stage.
Yes, I know about that thread(I am not out to steal it's thunder), but it's a general fun thread, with a fun question "If You Had One Wish...For DLR...What Would It Be?(Maybe I should have been more descriptive on that fun question and used that first question I posted as an example.) Also, See Edit.

If I had one wish, I would wish that the resort had more land to expand into.
Same here!
I would love to get rid of Disney/West Dr. and push the parks' boundries out to the parking structure. Demo the Disney hotel and rebuild it over by the Paradise Pier hotel. Demo the PPH and expand DCA out towards the new Disney Hotel.
Hmm, how about this: The new BIG HOTEL would be over by the corner behind where Paradise Pier Hotel is and expand the parks to take over the land that the hotels once occupied! DCA and DL would both touch Harbor Blvd. and Ball to the north and Katella to the south.
I wish I had time right now, but I'm at work, to show you my ideas, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say!
Took mom to Disneyland for the first time in over 20 years this week! Woo!
