Hello chatters

As you all know, this years Halloween Time promotion was a HUGE hit and was adored by AP's and regular ticket guests alike. This year introduced two of the biggest offerings of the season... Space Mountain's Ghost Galaxy overlay, and the ever popular nighttime spooktacular Halloween Screams.

This thread is to show our appreciation for all the time and effort that went into this years ever-growing Halloween season... The time and effort that went into the Ghost Galaxy overlay and the magic and mischief that went into Halloween Screams.

Although the overlay will remain open throughout the Christmas season, the Haunted Mansion Holiday is definitely one of my favorites


One of my favorite parts of every Disneyland season is to see the brightly colored flowers that are always there to dress up Main St. USA... This years brightly colored oranges, reds, and yellows were a big thumps up in my book


Even though Candy Corn is one of my LEAST favorite candies... I have to admit that I DO love how the Sunshine Plaza is always dressed up for the season

For me it was all about the Ghost Galaxy overlay, and Zero flying over the castle.

Definitely the giant ball that became Jack, Ursella, Big Bad Wolf, and Oogie Boogie. It was an awesome effect that I hope to see more of during the holidays.

My favorite was Ghost Galaxy. I wanted to like Halloween Screams. I was so excited with the idea of Zero flying over the castle. But the music was so manic and not very well orchestrated that it really took away from my enjoyment of the show.

I wasn't totally in love with any of it, but Ghost Galaxy was kind of a fun change of pace and I think the park looks nice with all the pumpkins and orange colors and so forth. I didn't see Halloween Screams, and HMH left me as unimpressed as usual, but no biggie. I'm just glad I rode the real Haunted Mansion, like, three or four times back in June. It was like...storing up food for the long winter hibernation.

GG and Halloween Screams were my two favorites. The fireworks were done so wonderfully, however I could've gone without the boy-band sounding music. HMH is always good in my book, while I do love Haunted Mansion in it's normal state, I love Nightmare Before Christmas, so it's a nice change once a year.

GG and Halloween Screams are in my TOP 2!! it's good to have something for Halloween. The park seems boring without it. I regret not seeing the pumpkin carvings.

My favorite part was being able to take my stepmother, who doesn't go for scares and "doesn't like" Halloween, and have her be charmed from the moment she saw the character pumpkins by the entry gates. :yea: Jack and Co. were even able to win her over to the Haunted Mansion!

I loved Halloween Scream! It was so different than all the other fireworks shows, as it should be for Halloween. Space Mt Ghost Galaxy was a bit of a letdown for me.. I never understood what all the hype was about. It was a fun change to the ride, but that's about it for me.

I think Halloween Screams was one of the best firework shows they've ever had. It was craaazy cool

I made it a point to visit every week so I could see Halloween Screams and that was my favorite thing. They did and awesome job on that. GG was OK for me, not as big a deal for me. Always like the mansion and I love seeing Jack and Sally out. The pumpkins in Thunder Ranch are always nice. I just like seeing the Park all decorated for Fall in general.
